Science Class Updates 10/7 - 10/11:

Monday 10/7 - Presentations of Final Project
                        - Copy of Assignment can be found HERE

Tuesday 10/8 - Finish presentations if needed
                       - Class projects to move forward? As a class help make final tweaks before 
                          competition

Wednesday 10/9 - Final project class competitions. Two projects from each core class will go up
                               against other top projects from the other Science classes. We will be looking for
                               the most useful and viable design.

Thursday 10/10 - End of quarter Science assessment
                            - Study guide can be found HERE or Schoology or Google Classroom

Friday 10/11  - Wrap up of quarter and Science exploration

Upcoming Due Dates & Quizzes:

• Conferences October 10th
• Properties of Matter Final Project is DUE 10/7, please see link provided above for all details
• End of Quarter Science Test 10/10. Test including all of the topics we have covered during first Quarter. Students will be provided a study guide by mid week. If your student would like some extra help or to just ask some more questions there will be an after school help session Wednesday 10/9 or during lunch Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
• All late, missing or revision work needs to be completed and submitted by Wednesday 10/9

Just a Reminder: While there are policies around bathroom passes, students at Infinity will not be denied the use of the restroom.  Students in 7th grade receive 3 bathroom passes per core class per quarter and elective classes do not have a limited pass system for bathroom use.  Nurse visits do not count as bathroom passes and there are no bathroom restrictions during lunch, except for when students go outside for recess; however, students get an extra 3 minutes to get to class from lunch when they can also use the bathroom.  If a student uses their 3 passes in a specific class during the quarter, they will not be denied the ability to use the restroom; students will be expected to make up the instructional time missed with the teacher either after school or at lunch (per the teacher's discretion) for the amount of time they were out of the classroom.
